The larger the screen size is, the better it will be for you to use or watch movies. LG offering an “improved” version LG27QN600B. This was named LG 32qn600-b. The LG 32qn600-b QHD curved 32-inch monitor is designed for professionals, but also offers entertainment. It offers a curved QHD resolution with HDR10 support, and a 5-millisecond response time. This monitor is a good gaming monitor and a refreshing ultrawide package. This is not the only thing that makes it attractive. It has AMD FreeSync and an IPS panel. It’s also less expensive. However, even at a lower price, 32QN600B is still a significant investment.
Design OF LG 32qn600-b
This one has a similar design as the 27QN600B . But, due to its 32-inch feature, you’ll need more room to accommodate it in your setup. It features the standard around-current monitors borderless bezels design with a half circle stand and is completely in matte black. The back has the LG logo, and the VESA support to help those who want it to be placed on walls. The LG 32QN600B measures 20.2×28.1×8.2 inches (HWD), but is not as large as its 38-inch sibling the LG 38UC99W. The 32-inch IPS panel comes in a stylish matte-black cabinet with a zero-bezel design. It also has silver trim.
This monitor does not have built-in speakers. This is a major problem because a large part of those who can afford this monitor are often due to VESA support. Due to the lack of an integrated speaker, you will need to be close enough to your monitor. The size of your headphones will determine this. Let’s not forget the dimensions. It measures 28.1×8.2×20.2 inches and weighs 13.9 lbs without a stand and 15.9 pounds with it. We also have 2x HDMI ports on the back: 1x Headphone-out and 1x DisplayPort.
Features OF LG 32qn600-b
It has a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m2, and a maximum refresh speed of 75Hz. The 5-millisecond native pixel response time is not the best, however it features AMD FreeSync adaptive Sync support, which eliminates screen-tearing artifacts. With 350cd/m2 the total brightness, it’s not necessary to choose exactly where to place this monitor. Whether you’re behind a window, or anywhere else, you won’t have any problems seeing the image. It is also not recommended to use the monitor at its maximum brightness as 350cd can be harmful to your vision over extended periods of time.
The LG 32QN600B features a joystick button in the middle of its bottom edge. This is used to turn the monitor on or off and navigate the onscreen menus. It also has many settings. You’ll find quick settings such as Brightness, Contrast and Volume, along with Screen Off options. You can select the source video, adjust the aspect ratio and set the Picture-ByPicture (PbP), which allows you to split the screen in half so that you can display output from two sources.
LG’s official site states that the monitor’s color gamut was the same as its predecessor. However, it now uses the CIE1931 Color Space. The LG32QN600B has 1.07B color depth, which is an improvement compare to LG27QN600B.
The LG 32QN600B has a pixel density of 1.2 ppi. This screen size already has pixels. If the resolution was 1080p instead 1440p, then the pixels would be clearly visible. This problem is not present with 1440p. However, it is close to the limit. You should consider getting a 4k resolution monitor if you want a larger screen than 32 inches. This model is the most precise in color precision and price.
Performance
This monitor is not recommended for competitive gaming due to the low refresh rate. 75hz can still be used for casual gaming, but it’s not recommended for competitive gaming. This monitor is still a great choice for anyone who wants a monitor that can be used for both work and casual gaming. Unfortunately, the monitor’s response time is the same as its predecessor 5-millisecond.
The casual gaming performance is fine, with no motion blur on Crysis 3 and Grand Theft Auto V (for Sony PS4). However, there was some screen tearing in Crysis 3. But you can now enjoy a smoother gaming experience by enabling AMD FreeSync.
Conclusion
The lg 32qn600-b is not perfect, but you cant expect perfection when you spend less than $300 on a monitor. The monitor does not have speakers and LG has left out a USB-C port. The LG 32QN600B is both an entertainment and casual gaming monitor. It has a rich feature set that is complemented by excellent performance and beautiful aesthetics.
